SBI PO Recruitment 2023: Registration Opens for 2000 Vacancies

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the commencement of the SBI PO Recruitment 2023 on September 6, 2023. The registration process for the Probationary Officer (PO) positions is scheduled to start on September 7, 2023, and will close on September 27, 2023.

The primary objective of this recruitment drive is to fill 2000 vacant PO positions within the organization, with the preliminary examination scheduled for November 2023.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible to apply for the PO position, candidates are required to hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Applicants who are in their Final Year/Semester of graduation may also apply provisionally, provided they can provide proof of graduation completion by December 31, 2023. Furthermore, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of April 1, 2023.

Selection Process: The selection process consists of a preliminary examination followed by a main examination. Successful candidates in the main examination will qualify for the Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview.

It’s important to note that the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be considered for the final selection. Only the marks achieved in the Main Examination (Phase-II), including both the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the scores obtained in the Group Discussion and Interview (Phase-III) to determine the final merit list.

Candidates are required to pass both Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The final merit list will be compiled by aggregating scores from the Written Test, Group Discussion, and Interview.

Application Fees: For General/EWS/OBC candidates, the application fee is INR 750, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from paying any application fee. It’s important to note that the application fee once paid will not be refunded for any reason and cannot be reserved for any other examination or selection.
